I’d like to think that my art gives the viewer a look at making the obvious more obvious. Plein air painting in oils gives a snippet of what I see and takes you along with me.

Bio:

Susan Walker-Ing has painted since a young child. Enjoying mediums such as ,drawing, watercolours, acrylics, and oils and winning awards in many categories. Graduating from York University with a degree in Fine Arts/Art History, she finished her degree in Florence, Italy, an inspiration throughout her career. Accomplishments, include an Honourable Mention, Saugeen Plein Air competition in July 2020. In 2021 and 2023 she earned the esteemed title of “Best in Show” twice for her plein air work in the ASK Plein Air Competitions. Her love of nature makes her a good fit in the Coldwater studio tour.
