Bio:

John spent 20 years building one of, custom furniture in Toronto, alongside many other notable furniture makers, while working in a cooperative, shared workspace.
He and his family purchased a country property in Hawkestone in 2008. The shop moved up north, into a much smaller space.
Having played guitar for many years, and considering the smaller studio, building guitars seemed like a good fit.
John’s first build was a fully carved jazz archtop guitar, which was considered an optimistic project for a beginner, to say the least.
