Encaustic is applied in layers in a molten state, every layer fused with heat, adding pigment and building accretion using pallet knives and hake brushes. Etheral and meditative.

Bio:

A creative for life (photography and mixed media) beginning as a student of film at Sheridan College. Led me shooting for both private and corporate clients. In 2018 while in Sedona, AZ, I was introduced to encaustic medium and was immediately inspired to take my photography further. Taking encaustic workshops I began to apply my vision for my work within studio. Using images shot both locally & worldwide.

Exhibited twice within Stack Gallery (sold work), and excited to be part of OMAH’s IWD exhibit 2024. I would be honoured to offer and share this unique medium technique within the tour.
