Much of my photography is still done in the Georgian Bay area, especially near Waubaushene. I have also traveled across Canada and to other countries such as India, Africa, Australia, Madagascar, Costa Rica, Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. Photos from these exotic places fill out my portfolio.
My connection with nature began as a child on walks with my Father and Grandmother. From them, I learned to notice the smallest movement or sound and then to identify and name the birds, insects, reptiles, amphibians and mammals in the southern Georgian Bay area. My Grandmother taught me about the plants, emphasizing what to eat and NOT to eat! Now I use those skills and, with my camera and years of experience, work to capture rare glimpses of nature in exciting digital images which stimulate the imagination and delight the eye.
