Much of my work is quite open to personal interpretation and I love hearing about what others see when they look at it. They’ll often make observations that hadn’t occurred to me.  It’s intriguing to witness the reactions and emotions that artwork can evoke.

A resident of Oro-Medonte, Debra is a self-taught mixed media artist whose unusual work reflects her continued fascination with texture. Each piece is an intuitively blended composition of diverse elements including metal, wood, stone, crystals, leather and many other intriguing materials and found objects. Combinations of the various media create unique tactile pieces that stimulate the imagination, and she is always searching for new treasures to inspire the joy of experimentation and play.
