Curious by nature, organic forms and natural materials provide an irresistible invitation to explore.
Inspired by Japanese techniques of Shibori, and shaped resist textiles, I create patterns on cloth which provide complex and intriguing surfaces.
Recent explorations have included rusty objects, overdyed with natural dyes.
I am a process led artist, and these ideas have kept me busy for 15 years.
